Fireplace Surround

When we selected our countertops in August, we forgot to select the fireplace surround for the Great Room. That meant another trip to Birmingham to make the selection.

I found this gorgeous honed granite. It has a leather like finish and when it catches the light, you can see the texture, it is beautiful.

Since I made the trip to Alabama, I figured I’d stop by the house to see what progress had been made since our trim walk through two weeks earlier. You can see that update here.
